Rules for submitting materials to the website owner

How to submit a text, document or correction and separately agree any use.

← Legal information

1. Recipient and delivery

Send materials to the personal website’s owner, Andrei Viktorovich Svirin, at andrei.svirin@arbitr.law. Identify the subject, provenance, author and preferred contact method. There is no upload form or user account; attachment limits depend on the email service. Arrange a suitable channel before sending large or sensitive materials.

2. Lawful and limited submission

The sender needs a lawful basis to provide a material for review. Identify known restrictions, ownership and any representative’s authority. Do not send unnecessary personal data or legally protected secrets. Public availability does not permit unrestricted republication. Disclose substantive document or image alteration, or generative tools, where it affects authenticity.

3. Review does not mean publication

Receipt allows consideration of a proposal within the relevant purpose and lawful ground. It does not transfer copyright, create a commission or require publication or a fee. The owner may seek clarification, propose a separate agreement or decline further work. There is no universal reply deadline or entitlement to a review.

4. Permission to use

Public use requires agreement on the particular work, permitted acts, term, territory, credit and payment or absence of payment, unless another lawful ground permits use. Separate licence terms are available for voluntary unpaid permission. Sending a file and a general “I agree” do not replace proper identification of the work, rights holder and their intention.

Permission for a text does not replace the basis needed to disclose personal data, a person’s image, private life or third-party works within it. Translation and substantive editing are separately agreed. Public credit is not inferred automatically from an email address, filename or sender name.

5. Confidentiality and retention

State disclosure restrictions before sending the material. Non-public correspondence does not become public merely because it is sent; mandatory confidentiality and data protection remain. The website is not a specialised secure disclosure channel and does not promise a media-source confidentiality regime. The policy governs processing and retention; an ordinary submission not accepted for publication has a one-year maximum, with earlier deletion where appropriate.

6. Withdrawal and rights concerns

Before use is agreed, you may withdraw a proposal by email identifying the material. Once a licence is concluded, termination follows that agreement and the law; withdrawal of data consent is separate. Report an alleged rights violation to andrei.svirin@arbitr.law with the page, material, nature of the right and supporting information. An allegation does not itself establish infringement.
